- I have a GVP I/O extender that I use as my serial port(my internal is
- dead and the I/O extender was cheaper than a repair cost...). I use it
- at a locked rate of 38.4K with no problems. I run a Citadel BBS(I maintain
- the source for the Amiga Version) and can do X and Y modem fine. I have
- a copy of XPRD & the Zmodem XPR library plus I have an RZ/SZ for the Amiga
- and neither will work with the GVP I/O Extender properly. They seem to
- lose the CTS/RTS because they get buffer overruns and errors during the
- transfer.
-
- Citadel opens the gvpser.device 3 times in shared mode with CTS/RTS.
- It seems that RZ/SZ(or XPRD) opens it with the CTS/RTS option...
-
- Before I killed my internal port zmodem worked fine. Anyone have any
- suggestions(other than get the internal port fixed...)?
